I need some help! As a retired super stock puller everything that I used to know or thought I knew seems to be exactly the opposite with antique's. We just purchased a 77 Oliver the week before Tunica drove a long way to get the tractor, just to play. An by the way, my family and I had a great time there. The tractor has 14.9x38 cut Armstrong's. I know that horsepower is critical but putting the power to the ground with these tractors seems even more critical. What are the different tire combinations that might work better in the 3500lb class.

I run 14.9x38 cut Firestones on my H. I have tried a lot of other sizes, but these seem to work the best in 3500-4500 for me. I am getting around 80hp if that helps any. 15.5x38 work nicely also. good luck and have fun.
