I would set it up with a 4 3/8" bore. You can bigger but will definiely need to fill the block with hard block. You may want to do it with the 4 3/8" bore if you are serious about running some rpm. Give Brad Maibach a call at Maibach's Tractor in Creston, Ohio. He can give you some good recommendations for combinations and parts sources.

Good Luck

All you may need if you want to do your self is stroke your crank. I have the rods to do so for you but will need the crank off set ground and pistons shaved. Also a 1600 manifold and carb help. Call me 1-585-335-9274 7-7pm EST.
