will be splitting this tractor soon to cure ta gear noise in low. while im there thinking of replacing main clutch wondering if any bigger clutches such as 806/706 will work pulling stock farm 6000 to 8000 lbs or should i stick with original clutch this one lasted 50 years??.thanks paul

I bought a new pressure plate and a ceramic lined disc from batescorp for my M. Works great and doesn't slip. Might be quicker than having your old clutch built.

For the money I'd have the stock clutch beefed up with stronger springs in the pressure plate and more pads on the clutch.
