If joe was somebody hewould know more about tractors and humor. If you don't like the humor go to grandmaws sewing circle, then you could how to pick flowers. Whosaid that humor was southern talk. Could be an impostor! Do you complain about everything? Grow up, relax and have fun. Learn about life, then you can learn about tractors!

If Joe had spent as much time in a tractor seat as some of us he would realize what is is to cut up a bit. I planted my young but on a seat when there wasn't any cabs, AC, radios or power steering. After running a JD D working summer fallow all day long a 16 year old boy was ready to act a little stupid.Ya know whut uh mean, tires spinnin, gravel flyin lookin fer the gurlz and maybe score a six pack.YEE HAH

Not to be rude to the guys that own the newer tractors, but I wouldn't farm with one of them myself. My dad used a 460 diesel for 12 years, and then updated to an 1100 Massey Ferguson. His father used an H, and F-20, and an 830 Case, so don't go saying that I don't set on the seat enough. I have been there a good many times. The days may be long and rough, and I can understand what you mean by loosening up, but it went a little overboard in my opinion. Not everyone has switched over to more modern times, and frankly, I am not one of them. I prefer the old iron.

I have been around tractors all my life, and I will admit I don't know everything, but compared to some of the people of today, I am well ahead of them in knowledge. That's why I come to this website about everyday to see what I can learn. Humor is good sometimes, but if I have a question on here, I like reading people's follow ups and taking good advice. On the other hand though, I don't really want people's advice if they are messing around with me.

Still, there is a lot of humor on this page. Takes up a lot of forum place for guys that really want some help. I know how boring it is now since pulling season is basically over, but there are still people that build them throughout the winter. I'll try to loosen up a lil, but I hope you get my point.
