I have never been able to prove it, but I can say that UTI machines had 340 motors in them (4.25x6). It has been debated, but I have factory pictures. UMIL did too. What about 403 in a farm tractor? How did someone buy one? I am building one right now.

Do you have documented proof of that?
You could get them from a dealer as a dealer installed upgrade, but I do not think they were ever factory produced.

There has never been documented prove that a U could come from the factory with a G engine. Dealer installed yes, factory no. We have a UB that we bought that has a dealer installed kit. My uncle had a M602 that had a dealer installed G kit, now that was the way MM should have built them! As for the UTI, it had a 283 it was the UTIL-M that had the 340.
