I have a 1936 A John Deere and wondering how big pullers are building them? How big can it be build and hold together for more than a season?

9.25 is a good stroke on an A... too much more and you have to look at moving the Cam.. (A little more could probably be squized out... )

Hey,
I went 9in on a 42 A. it was very tight. you have to change the rod ends to 4020. then you have cut the back out of the crankcase. alos have to grind the cam
just my expierence

if you go with a 2.75 journal instead of a 3"4020, you can get alot more clearence on the cam with a 9" crank....
