I can get a Minn. jet 3 star are these anygood for pulling? Or would it be to much to mess with. Thanks.

I had the tractor for around $300 but as soon as I told the guy I wanted to pull it he backed out! He said it should be restored instead of abused!! Oh well.

Then restore it! For 300 bucks I'd drive it to work every day backwards if that's what he wanted done with it. Good deal. Personally, I think it would be a neat pulling project. Still a good farm/show piece too. Farm work abused tractors a lot more than pulling them ever will. Of course I'm sure he doesn't want to see it all chopped up or unoriginal. I have my puller tractors, and I have my stockers. No paint for any yet. Someday...

Dang. I ususally keep quiet when trying to buy one. I just tell folks I collect old MM for fun and show because I have a healthy appreciation for them....which is 100% true. Better luck next time Shaggy.

Hey Shaggy. Depends on what your rules say about years. I think one could pull well, but I also know what could be done to tweak one up. Motor parts and lightening up the rest of it could be a neat project. I have an original Jet Star. If you want some information feel free to e-mail me. Nice tractor!
