They are a touch better than stock nothing gained at the fulcrum , actually you lose the babbit or bronze bushing that was in the factory unit the tip is nothing more than a dowel pin and drill bushing, If you want to make a change use Thomson shaft, needle bearings at the fulcrum and the tip.

Yep I bought a set 5 years ago and was a little disappointed they didn't have needle bearings on the shaft, and I had to use the adjusting screws from the stock rockers. I reckon they are good for a tad more lift and they're a little easier on the valve stems. Easier than swapping cams anyway.

3000 rpm or less. what do you need needle bearings for. before you open your mouth you ought to look at the price of a good needle bearing.do you really want to spend the xtra money.oh bye the way i picked up 12hp on my 606 ci jdg.$300 is pretty cheap for a gain like that.they are flawless. if you could build better ones why didn't you. have a good day

So how much extra horsepower are your rockers worth over the Murphy's units? I'm well aware of the benefits of full roller rockers, but is there enough of a performance and reliability gain to justify the extra cost?

Well Mr 820puller I was just saying that compared to what Crane or Comp Cams gets for a set of their high end rockers these seem a might costly. I have run a set for 5 years and have no regrets, but they were one of the more expensive things I did to the motor. I do appreciate your insight and knowlege though, and you keep that big deere a poppin.

You had a street-driven truck that ran 8.90s in the 1/4 mile? I highly doubt it. Maybe in the 1/8 mile. Are you confused here?

#1. I didn't bash anyones product, I stated the facts and did not post anything about what I build till you called me out talking junk because I have plenty of work, and they are not a competive product when the only thing that is similar is the basic mis-leading name( IE. when something justs pivots it does not roll) and finally I ain't pissed just stating the facts and I don't build parts for 2cyl deeres if I did the extra power would make those shake and bakes come apart!LOL

It's easy! Just come to NC and see who is winning and you will know who he is. How could LW begin to compete with the prices when he refuses to cut corners and put out a non-performing product. I will say it again if someone just wants to spend money theres many places to do that. If they want to win and want there tractor right then they can talk to LW.

LW is Wilsons Machine shop in West End NC. He has done quite a bit of work for me and everything he has done has been perfect. He builds some of, if not the baddest tractors in NC. If you want something done right he's your man. If you just want to spend money call denny's. I will try to hunt up his #.

You boys sure get bent out of shape, I wouldn't do work for someone with your attitude,I don't do bolt on pieces for the masses I will do a top end like the cam, lifters, head, rockerstands the shaft , the rocker, the pushrods, I get all the geometry right and get everything working together,Just like when I did a lot of drag car work I didn't do 5.0 mustangs atleast not the ones with the bolt on garbage. If I put a price on here all you would do is critisize and talk crap when your not aware of the amount of work that I would want to go through to get everything right I won't just do a set of rockers for someone I will do the entire assembly all the valvetrain. This protects me from doing a part and selling it to someone then they do something like change deckheight or valve length and screw things up I don't want to do work for someone unless I can guarantee results.

I've seen a lot of 20 thousands dollars plus motors running in antique classes, you get what you paid for, unless Denny's had anything to do with it.
