What is weight of unstyled JD B, a 1930's AC WC, or a WD?

Does anyone know about the weight of unstyled, long hood, spoked or pressed steel wheels, no power-trol B? I was guessing around #2800.

How about a mid 30's Allis WC or a WD? Which would be a better puller, after a "few" engine mods?

Thanks.

Get the WC or WD. Not much comparison with a B. The B might have a chance below 3250 but definitely not above that. WC and WD's are cheap and are very competitive pullers, that is the way to go in the light classes. A JD A above 4000# can give them a battle with some work done.

The JD B with spoke cutoffs should weigh 3050 lbs
the unstyled WC with spoke cutoffs should weigh 2,950 lbs. and the WD should weigh 3300 lbs. You skipped the styled WC with cast wheels at 3050 lbs. I've never seen anybody with pressed wheels on a John Deere B(unstyled) but I'm sure somebody has done it. Isn't the power trol the hydraulic system first made available on the JD 60?
Power is easily made in the A-C's but that doesn't
always mean everything in the light classes and the guys watching are always routing for the John Deere's.

Thanks alot agco for the info. I was just referring to tractor without the hydraulic system. Dad had 38" tires and may want to use the pressed wheels with them instead of cut-offs and 36" tires.

Get the Allis, you'll get more out of it, although it might cost you more to build.
