I'm tired of just working on the farm.

I have a chance to get another D17 Diesel. This one is a series I tricycle. Considering getting into novice pulling. Is this the right tractor/motor to start with? Can I get parts for the Buda motor easily? My current D17 never breaks down so I don't need parts.

What do you guys think?

D-17 diesel is a relative expensive peice of equipment to be making into a pulling tractor but the only ones I've seen that do any good are the ones who deadweight on concrete. Hey its all in the fun anyway buddy. If you want to go out there just to watch that puppy blow smoke....more power to ya. Might do pretty decent if you put 38" rubber on it.
