Remove hydraulic pump. Remove pto shaft. Change wheels to stamped wheels. Remove belt pully if you have one. Remove all unneccesary steel.

From my own observations, you'll do better with it heavier. It's a matter of putting the weight in the right places and getting the proper drawbar height and length.

Use W4 rear axles and housings. Probably 200lbs difference, A light weight front pedistal. Axle plates instead of hubs, Aluminum steering shafts, clutch, brake pedal shafts. Use a fiberglass fuel tank, aluminum weight bars, etc etc, ChadS

If your realy serious you need to build yourself a wide front end with rack and pinion steering..... . then you can remove that whole front piece if you attach the front end to the frame rails
