WD 45 Puller?

In the process of rebuilding a basket case for my son to rake hay with. Any advice, input or been there done that for a classic puller? So far had to get different block, I have 4 1/8 pistons & sleeves, D17 crank, head & carb. This is a winter project. This year we had a local antique pull where people step on the sled (just for fun). And some 8-10 yrs. old were walking 10' tall. Thanks / Eddie

I am sure you are puttin that baby on a diet:lose pto,oil bath ect.BUT 1 thing I think really helps this tractor,is the snap coupler.I made an adjustable hitch but used the original sanp coupler(put a ring on the front of a drawbar that connects to snap coupler)I think the location of this is a benifit.I pulled in 4500-5500 used 13.6 x 38s and 15.5 x 38s,now after watching several pulls,I wish I would have tried 16.9 x 28s ( I know this goes aginst alot of opinions,but you have more foot print and you are not loosing power to diameter increase.my opinion/ideas)I never tried it,but have a friend with a Ford that I used to beat quiet abit when I had 45,he got a set of these and i dont think i beat him again.
