Hey Guys,

Kerry, Did you enjoy the pull in New Braunfels? I didnt make it Opening day of deer season. Dad went with The Farmall and pulled really good in the 4100 and 4600. got DQ'ed because we ran 4th gear. He new he would get DQ but standing it up in 4th gear that fast puts on a great show for the people and I think that is whats it is about. Give those fans something to stand and holler about. Jdgnut, You missed a great pull from what I heard. Burton is OCT 25 We have family reunion so I might not mak a pull to Abilene. Our tractor is running good. So??? what's up your sleeve???? Hu?

Nuthing ... yet...HEHEE>.. Still a ways to go.. don't think I'll ever make the 4600 class.. Might have to have a Jockey driver to go that light.. Hoping for the spring sometime... (I said that last year about this time too.. haha.. ) I'm sure it was a great pull... Dont think I'll make it to Burton... Went a few yrs ago.. going to pass... I might go to Temple this weekend.. depends on what time I get in this weekend.. Looking like Saturday some time.. and still have to get the tractor ready.. and weighted... Might just haul a tractor around.. putt around for a while.. and head back... Will be ready for Valley Mills... JDGnut

Yep, we had a great time at the NB pull. Jessica (my 17 yr old gear-head daughter) even said she had a good time. I've been sick all week with a cold or something so we only stayed until about 6:15pm or so, we didn't get to see the big ones pull but we enjoyed what we saw. I wandered around the fair with her a little too.

I'm going to try to make it to Temple, isn't that this coming weekend? That's my favorite pull of the year, I think. I still wish somebody would bring a few of those big modifieds with the V-8's and Allisons... ;-)

I met Ben and saw him do a great job of pulling his little JD 50, too. There were several 50's there for a change.

I think we're going to have to go to Temple on Sunday, do they still pull the big tractors first on Sunday and last on Saturday? Jessica wants to go with me but homecoming is Saturday night. She told me if she knew the tractor pull was that weekend, she'd have turned the guy down when he asked her! Do I have a cool daughter or what?

;-)

Bummer about being all the way up there! Hey, they ought to have a bunch of pulls around IL and MO... I'll watch for you at Temple if you're down Sunday. Jessica threatened to stand up the guy who asked her to homecoming if I go on Saturday.

I did see a few H's, I didn't know which one to look for, maybe I should have paid better attention, I'll download the pix and see if I got one of an H. Seeing Ben pull that JD 50 gave me hope for mine! I've never really tried to see what it would do, I don't guess I've ever pulled anything bigger than an 8 ft disk, it will do it in 3rd. I've got a 3pt 6-1/2 foot that I pull all the time in 4th gear, it's great for the garden.
