I have had this idea for a long time. I have always wanted to make a tractor out of some spare parts. I can get a gas six cylinder gmc from my grandpa for next to nothing. I have read that you can get some insane hp and torque from these engines. The tractor would be the size of a farmall m, or a 77 or 88 oliver. what would be the best rear end and transmission to use? I could use some of the parts off the truck and make it look like a real production tractor. Heck, the fun wouldn't be pulling the tractor, but people trying to find out what it is, who made it, and how many were built.

I have been seeing that a lot more at shows but with v-8 engines. Me I think it sucks.Get you a M and build the M engine or get a oliver and build it if you want a V-8 tractor put 6 engines on it then Ill be impressed. (just my opinion)Do what ever turns your hand crank.
