Went in to get a price on some new 14.9-38 for my Super M today. Asked about Firestone M151 as that is what I had thought I had seen on most of the local pullers tractors in my area. Seems that M151 means nothing to them. What model of Firestone am I looking for? Also, does anyone have any experience with B.F. Goodrich 45 degree bar tires? Thanks

I have a set of OLD 45 degree goodriches. They bite like a hungry dog!!!! New tires are not the way to go for tractor pulling..... the lugs are too soft and they will roll under. Try to find a set of used 30 to 60 percent lug tires. Firestones are a very good tire also. I know I will hear about this, but I've placed several times with safemark tires. Just my 2 cents....

you are looking for all traction field and road tires which are no longer made. now firestone has traction field and road which doesn't have quite as heavy lugs on the tread.

don't waste your time, and money on new tires. they are way too soft and too much lug. find a good old matched set and go have fun alot cheaper.
