Anybody ever tried Nirous in a Two Cylinder Jd? Run it right into the air supply...?

Some guys in centrale IN had it on there A about 10 years ago. It gave it another 10 feet on the track too bad it was still 20 feet behind.

Are you familiar with how nitrous oxide "works"? All nitrous is is an oxygen-bearing gas or liquid, depending on it's state of matter. Injected by itself, it will do nothing but lean out the fuel-air mixture and destroy the engine. It adds power by introducing more oxygen, which then allows you to burn more fuel. You also have to introduce more fuel at the same time, which nitrous systems do. The hard part would be engineering a plate to go somewhere in the intake system. You would also have to have some sort of electric fuel pump to supply the needed extra fuel, as the factory gravity feed just isn't going to do it. Nitrous also requires colder plugs and less ignition timing, which could affect how the engine runs when it's "off the bottle". Due to all the clearance stacking in the timing gear train of a two-cylinder, it might be too difficult to set your ignition timing accurately enough for nitrous. It's certainly not impossible, but it's definitely going to be much more involved than simply mounting the bottle and drilling a hole in the intake.

Yes and no you can use a dry kit made for late model cars but you will need to fatten up the fule jet in the carb best way is to use a fogger nozzel and direct injejt it you will need to use the elc fule pump and a timing retard box it is not hard just alot of prep work to make it right I am doing this on a h farmall and have not had any trouble but you have to know when to use it and when not as it will hit the tires hard if you use it to late and spin Mike
