Lagrange Engine Pull HOME TOWNING

Went up to Lagrange Sunday for their antique tractor pull. All I can say is they had a nice day to have it and a really good sled other than that is was a horrible run pull. I haven't seen home towning that bad in a long time. I went up to pull the "OPEN" class which their rules on the internet states any gear any speed which changed at the line to hook to the sled to a 1st or 2nd gear class. One of the local boys didn't want to see my fast gears I guess. All I can say is the further you stay from that orginization the better off you are. If you are wondering I am not bitching because I got beat cause I won the 4500 & 6500 and took 2nd in the 5500 so I faired good enough but this pull needs ALOT OF HELP. I am sure it really pissed someone off to see those awards leave the county like they did. Changing rules on the fly and DQing a father son team with their TRUELY STOCK M and Super M just cause they can drive better than the local "BUDDY CLUB" can. Just my thoughts on a poorly run pull and aheads up to whoever might be thinking of going there next year.

hey buddy. first time in my life i ever won a class an they give trophy to someone else. the idiot wasn't even in top 3 positions an to top it off he was to stupid to know what had happened. any of you club members feel free to comment. ps. i had jd g an the idiotwas on a massey harris. laterrichard
