Yes it works. If the block has it in there and you want it out, better throw that block away and start over with one that does not have anything in it.-----deadeye

It works very well for what it was designed. Be sure to check all the cyls with a dial bore gauge. It may need to be re-honed to get the bores round and no taper. You may also need a little more clearance in the bore and just a little more ring end gap. They get hot and you need to run an electric wp and fan to get her cooled back down. You also need to bore and tap a hole in the back of the head. All this is if you fill it to the top.

What I want to know is how do you remove it from a block?? I bought a power-block that the previous owner used it to seal a leaky liner, but it did not stop the leak. So I want to get all of this hard block out and fix the leak. Plus this tractor will also be "used" in the field and I'm concerned with it overheating due to lack of coolant flow. So far have been chipping it out with a hammer and different punches. Is there a better(easier)way??

Its tile grout with some iron powder mixed in it, I have used tile grout with the same results but alot cheaper.

It's almost like a cement, that's added to the water passages to help slow down the cylinder
deflection.
