Alot of people are talking about Massey
Harris's.... well I have pulled with 3 44's that
were no stock tractors..pretty close....but not
stock and My Farmall M is except for a Super M kit
that boosts it 16 cubes to a 264....We tear them
up everytime we pull against them...i pull 4500 to
6500...they pull 4500 to 5000 maybe 5500.... if
yah got a good carb, ignition, manifold, and head
they are really competitive....TIRES ARE A MUST
FOR ANY TRACTOR!!!!!

I maybe a Deere man but those Massey 44's are tough in the 4500lb class. A high comp/oversize sleeve kit, a cam, valve bowl porting and a larger carb is a 75 HP machine. And lots of traction with 15.5x38 Firestones. The 4500lb class is popular however. Fewer pullers in the 6500lb and up classes.

The best you can do is a Deutz D-50 or a D-65. Ask anyone who has one or has pulled against one. I am sure you would have the only one in your area and you will be the subject of alot of laughing until you pulled it. I know of a D-65 that is going to Fla. soon so watch out you Fla. pullers!!!! Now if I could just find some bigger tires for my 130-06 I may do better in the 10,500lb class. Having fun. NY Deutz puller
