We're throwing around the idea of starting a local antique tractor club here in SE Kansas. We have a few local pulls each year but there is virtually no organization. There are no real rules -- and now there's no scale to weigh the tractors. We just need to get organized. Does anyone have a set of rules from their own club that I could see? Any constructive ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey Parrothead,There is an organization throughout
the country that offers what you are wanting.
Find them on the web at www.edgeta.org
Good luck and hope you find tractor pulling as
much fun as our club does.

Try WWW.vtpapullers.org/ Hot classes if you like. Stock tractors prove themselves on the dyno.

I would advise picking a set of rules like NATPA, good rules and easy to enforce. Best thing is not to rule the club to death. We currently have that problem here in a local Western PA club. Look into insurance like Allied out of Florida. It costs our clubs around $1600.00 per year for insurance. You will need a president who is not easily swayed one way or the other and whom listenens to both sides... remember one thing, it is the general membership who should run the club not the president!!! Hope this helps, good luck and don't get discouraged as it will be challenging starting a new club. Been there done that.

check the usapuller.com web site or the natpa.com web site for general rules. other clubs have rules on their sites.
