Just an early reminder to any Texas pullers and anyone else who would want to make the drive, Columbus, Texas TATPA pull is September 12 & 13 at the Colorado County Fair grounds off Highway 71 kinda West/Northwest of Columbus. Columbus is located 75 miles west of Houston on Interstate 10. Good firm track probaly 200ft instead of 250 so we can try to get done faster. Nice oak shade trees all around. Great group of pullers, come join the fun. Red

I have never had any problems pulling the sled. GPower, you and JDGnut seem to have good luck with it. All the Guys that run the sled are great people, I started pulling 2 years ago and everyone has had nothing but encouragement. Sorry that you are not going to be here, Hondo is the following weekend and then New Braunfels.

U guys are killing me with the dates... Hondo 9/20/03 ??
New Braunfel 9/27/03??
Winter 10/5/03
Probably going to miss all three of those for work.. and probably the Columbus Pull too.. Grrr... Work is getting in the way.....

Switchs on the sled???? they are for the lights.. They can turn on the brakes.. but it doesn't do squat if the weight box is up.. because the weight is on the pan.. Only thing I don't like is with the lighter tractors it doesn't track because of the training wheels.. but its the same for everyone... Could be like in Stephenville... thought I just had a bad pull... looked back and I was pulling the PULLBACK TRACTOR TOO... Haha.. those things happen... JDGnut
