I've always just pulled in low, but am looking at maybe hooking to a sled with MPH limit for pulling. I run 18.4X38 8 plies at stock RPM, or at least real close. I'm sure someone out there has the same setup, and has some idea what speed I'll be moving. Thanks for your input. Don

DP... I figured the Ol 38 had dried up and gone to the waste side.. hahaa.. You should have the HP to pull in Second on a softer track.. but U will be going over the 3.5mph speed limit.. Should be OK in low... You'll figured it out.. should have the first 50-75+ ft to get your speed adjusted... JDGnut

Figured i should maybe take the ole girl out and warm her up a little. Had it out last weekend and just rode the brakes a little around the yard to listen to it bark. Being in a new neighborhood, I bet the neighbors was wondering what was going on. We have three neighbors within 1/4 mile. Been 3 years since shes been hooked to a sled. The sled is now equipped with radar, and automatic horn. You have two chances to get it regulated, and the third horn you are DQ'd. Suppose you've been dragin those sleds out the gate down that way. Good to hear from you! Don

about 3 mph...maybe a little more. You could probably hit 3.5 with 20% over rpms with those 18.4s.

If yah don't realize it an 18.4 is the shortest of
the the bigger tires, if you wanted the speed i
would go to 16.9's
