How far can a set of U302 3-3/4 blocks be bored (or sleeved) to? There are some hot smaller MM motors out there. Just curious how far anyone has gone on them. I know diesel blocks are 3-7/8 but more rare. Just figuring some Jet Star modification options and would like to get four inches to the bore. Anyone have some experience here with a maximum bore size?

Thanks - Ethan Berry

Hi Ethan, how tall are those blocks? and do they have the same bolt pattern as a U? I mite be able to machine a set of My blocks and make them work. I put them in the Hook mag. It is the MOPOWER ad.Could you imagine 5 3/4 bore in a 302. Give me a call if you want. Glenn

Glenn, I think I have seen your add. In fact I have seen your blocks. My friend Doug had a set I looked at. These are solid cast correct? The bolt pattern is not the same. Yes with that bore, my Jet Star would really crank some power. Not sure how far I want to go with it. I would like to run water through it. Maybe still spread some manure with it after I'm done. I would like to chat with you some time so I may call. Thanks.

Ethan

Yes, they are solid, when they get that big not much room for water. Did some measuring the other day think I can fit 6 1/8 in. Glenn
