Since I have never been in a tractor pull I, but have watched several, I have some questions.

Pulling class:...is it solely by the weight of the tractor? I was watching on the weekend and in the 3000# class was a AC 12. I think my Super 55 weighs more than that, yet seems smaller. Would it be like 3,000-3,500 (the next class up) or is it 3,000 and below.

What gear do you use? Say you had 6 speeds like my Super 55 does.

Any special tactics?

How much of the success is the driver and how much is the tractor?

Anybody pulling at the Lynden show this week? If so, what kind of tractor? I'll watch out for you.

Tractors I love to hear pull are any of the Olivers with the GM diesel..... they sound sweet.

Thanks for any info...I kinda always wondered about those things.

the main thing in a tractor pull is the driver. If the driver weights the tractor right and drives in the right places...he should do alright. I don't know what a 55 is, but the tractor you pull you have to make sure it has enough power.

translate that message into something that has a meaning? Have very little idea what you are trying to say other than he will only need 1st gear.
