How far out can I go, I heard up to 4 1/2, I would assume sleeveless.

Maybe you mean with a dry block (fill the block with hard-block), you have to use sleeves as it is a wet sleeve engine. You should be able to get a 4 3/8 bore setup to work and seal so you can keep some coolant flowing. That would make a 360 cube engine with your stock 4" stroke.

I pull oliver 88s and have built several big engines and yes 4.875 is the largest I know you can go but I think your best bet is to go 4..250 because piston choices are good and Darton Sleeve has sleeves that will go in there with minimum work. The power diffrence between them would be very minimal.thanks and good luck!!! RAY>
