Farmall h tractors are beautiful to my eyes but always end up pretty far back at our antique pulls. we are allowed overbore and 700 pto speed. other than that playing with tires and weights. any hints would be appreciated. thanks steve robers

Bore your H out and put in 350 pistons with high dome pistons. This will make your H very competive.

How much money does it take to bore it out and put 350 pistons in it? Thanks.

Go buy a rebuild kit for a 350 with pistons and sleeves($300-500) and get the block bored ($20-40 a hole) Doesnt cost much more than a normal overhaul.
