Linda and Eric, may God bless you with a speedy recovery and we thank God that you were not hurt any worse. From the CATPA and DATPA crowd, our prayers are with you.

I spoke with Linda about 11:00 am today (3-24) and Eric is doing ok. He does have a cut on his thigh and had to have surgery on it the day of the accident.. He has no broken bones or internal injuries, which we are so thankful for.. He is having quite a bit of pain with his thigh and Linda said he does have some mashed muscles.. Eric and Linda both know how lucky he is as well as all of us do..They said to express their thanks for all your prayers and phone calls concerning this.. Eric should be coming home, hopefully Wednesday or Thursday.. He is in Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville. Also to let you know that " THE BULLDOG" will be pulling Sat. Mar. 29th at Jefferson/Pageland. They said it might not look to good, but was still able to pull.. I think the tractor owners ( Linda & Eric ) are just as tough as " THE BULLDOG ". Again thanks for all your concern.. They are a great asset to SATPA and we love them.. Don't be surprised to see Eric on Saturday..Might not feel like pulling but if possible, knowing Eric, he will be here. Hope this information relieves some of the questions and concerns for Eric at this time.

I too am very glad Eric didn't get hurt any worse than he did. Maybe we should all stop and review some of our activity around loading our tractors. How many time have we put it on the trailer with weights still loaded? It doesn't take much of a lurch to get it squirrelly. In investigating accidents on the job we try to learn and prevent accidents from recurring. Get well soon Eric and we'll see you on Sat.!
