Here's the Senerio. The tractor club that I am a member of has a natural asperated class that has hooks for 5000,6000,7500,9000,and 10000. The major rules are stock appearance block fuel pump, and 20 inch drawbar higth. You can't run cut tires, but there is no speed limit, no gear restriction, but if you are going to turn more than 3,000 rpm,s they want you to run a machined flywheel. Needless to say, I want to go HOT! Also in the two lower classed you cant run larger than 15.5x38's, but from 7500 and up you can run 18.4x38's. The tracors that are primarily ran in the lower classes are oliver88's, farmall M's and JD G's. I would like to run something different, mainly for the piss-off affect, but that's not everything. So fella's if those were the main rules that you'all had to go by when diciding to build a tractor, what type and model of tractor would you build? I personally don't have a preferance, but I will probobly have a budget of about 6 to 7 thousand dollars. This is next years project, and I'm not in a hurry to find one, but I just want to get an Idea about what I'm going to look for. By the way this is not an antique class, but I was thinking of something older, due to cash constraints. Plus there is an antique class with virtually the same rules, so I might want to keep it prior to 1960. all information will be apprechiated. Thanks Greg H. P.S.
