You know you guys who want this obviously have more money than brains so why don't you join the NTPA,or the ATPA build a super stock or something else and stop messing with the poor guys who can't afford to build a hot rod.

Some guys get a kick out of beating up on people who are on a budget 25% of theirs or less. It's alot more fun than running in the class they belong in and getting beat every so often!

sounds one sided to me that would rule out STOCK case l/la and mm g's right off the bat, those are just a couple that i know are 400 + stock. must be an oliver or ih puller making this up.

Why the under 400 cubes rule? Aren't there Div 4 adn 5 tractors of several brands running more than that already? If you're going to have a Div 6, it's going to have to be sustantially better and more entertaining than Div 5, or what's the point? I say let them go crazy. My two cents.

sounds good to me to John deere with a turbo wounder what it would do. put some more saftyes on and go. div 6 let them all in up to 1970 would make thing neet to see.

Could do it like the truck pullers did when they let trucks with blowers run in the same class as ones without. Without a blower you would run unlimited cubes but with one you had to stay down around 525 or so i think. It more or less makes for a more even playing field so tht no one had a major advantage. Honestly that is the best way to keep a sport going cause if there is a MAJOR advantage one way or the other alot of folks just quit because there is no chance of winning. And lets face it,if the rules are set up so that for example the M_M's have such a big advantage no one else can come close to them who is going to pull? Watching a pull with all one brand or all one model gets real boring real fast.

It seems to me that there are organizations all over the USA that already have the exact class you are talking about. Some call it farm stock, some call it hot farm, it is even called pro field in the south. If that is what you want to do, go find a rulebook and get to work on your tractor!
We have to many divisions and organizations the way it is. What we need is more participation in the clubs that do exist.

Yep, your right. I'll just go pull these "hot farm" classes that have you going up against 1066's from July to August and sit around until the next year rolls around. But if there was a division 6, then I guess I might go to a few more pulls in the winter. 10 years from now the 1958 rule will still apply and you know where I won't be.
