Value Built bearings are they good quality?

I have a Farmall M that I am restoring and the rear axle bearings are bad and need to be replaced. I will probably use this tractor to
pull with and was wondering if the bearings from
Value Built are of good quality with the extreme
pressures on the axles during tractor pulling.
Will they hold up or do I need to fork out the 91.00 each at the IH dealer for their bearings.

Go to a real good industrial or bearing supply, they will probably be about a third of that.

Actually, I've cross referenced them with NAPA and 2 other bearing places and they are all
$85.00 or more per bearing. IH dealer is $85.00- $91.00 each. Value Built is selling
there bearing for $49.99 each. I can't get the people at Value Built to tell me who makes their bearings, so I don't know how to compare. Usually
you get what you pay for so I may have to bite the bullet and fork out the $85.00 each. I need
4 of them. Thanks for any and all replies. Duane in VA.

I don't know about their quality but I have to wonder, if they have nothing to hide, why won't they tell you the brand of their bearings? Or any of their parts.

Do you have the bearing numbers from the bearings that came out of the M ? I would take those #s and call N.A.P.A. or another good parts store, get some Timkens, or Bower bearings, then you won`t have to worry about it, any GOOD parts store should be able to cross reference the #s and get them for you.
