Take a look at the attached Picture. Per NATPA rules are they legal? They support the full weight of the tractor weighted for the heaviest class. I would not consider these to be attached to the drawbar directly. Do you think they would pass tech inspection?

Yes they r legal cuz i have a set of wheelie bars on my 51 A John Deere just like the ones u have on urs.and ive been pullin at Murray Ky the NATPA for 6 years and nobody has ever said anything.Just as long as there not welded or connected to the hitch in anyway. I would have to say yes they are legal. I watched someone weld steel straps directly to there hitch to support the wheelie bars from breaking. The way it looks in the picture the hitch does not use the wheelie bars as support and the wheelie bars are not solely supported by the hitch. I hope this helps. I have pulled with the NATPA for 2 years and I have seen some crazy stuff pass even this year. Happy New Year
