I recently ran across some uncut Galaxy brand tires in 16.9x38. I've never heard of this brand of tire. I would want to pull with them. Does anybody have some ideas about these tires??? Thanks.

I have a set on my 880 that pulls our mixer wagon. We have pulled this tractor at a few farm stock pulls and the tires hook up excellent. I would love to find a set like you are talking about. Galaxy bought most of the BF Goodrich molds and some of the general molds. The 16.9 I have are similar to BFG and the 20.8's on our 2590 look like Generals. My 02 cents worth.

ol George, if you really want Galaxy tires let me know and I'll try to find a phone #. I'm in northern Il and needed one for an adjustment for a tractor dealer and the tire had to come from St. Louis. I think I spoke with their headquarters somewhere on the east coast. Jim T
