Wasn't there, but wanted to be. The earlier posts said SEVERAL had mechanical problems. Who were they and how serious? Someone said a few broken cranks. Who? I pull stock class, and they seldom break! But, I love to watch the open, 12 mph, big $ machines run!!!

Just wondering, 37 weights were pulled off a John Deere 60, were they wheel weights or suitcase? I own a Farmall M, an 88 Oliver, and a WC Allis, what kind of Olivers and, Allis' broke down?

They looked like 75 lb IH suitcase weights that came off the JD 60.The ole boy on the cover of the hook back last year on an 88 Oliver with Firestone Super All Traction V cuts on the rear broke something,just quit pulling.I can't think of his name.

Teasleys old 60 JD in the 10000 lb class broke something in the rear end on the right side when she got loaded.From where I was at we counted 37 weights thrown off just so a lift could pick up the rear end to move the tractor out of the building.

You Guys must have some big time motors in your rides. I told a few guys about a 60 in the 10000 class and they thought I was hosing them. If it wasn't so far (ILL.) I wish you could come up here and KICK some tail.

There were 2 olivers that broke their 2-speed tranny's, hudson's W-40 broke the motor, one AC broke the motor real bad & one AC that broke a hitch. This was just the stuff that I saw break on Saturday. There may have been more breakage on Saturday that I didn't see and there could have been more on Friday too.

It was a great pull, alot of fun. I would contribute a lot of breakage to the tight track and those boys use the shortest chain I have ever seen!!! By the way my hitch is still in Tunica :)

Kenny!! Didn't you just get done building that hitch?? Don't you just love the luck you've had the last couple pulls?? It could have been worse, atleast you could still drive (and steer :) ) it off the track under its own power. You think that chain was short, while you were gone the club voted in a new rule that says the chain has to be 40" or less (yeah right, I wish). Sorry, but I just had to give you a hard time. See Ya!!

I heard that!I had to leave them machines alone and hung around the bar,should have gotten back to my room a little earlier though.Felt rough Saturday but I sure had a good time.

If you pull in the stock class with a stock tractor you will probably never even breakdown.
