Does anyone know if there is someone at the tunica pull with a laptop so we can get the rules griping on here in real time or are we gonna have to wait till Monday? Just thought I would try to see as I will be at a parade and Christmas thing most of the day tomorrow and I sure do like reading all the griping..LOL!!!

Hopefully it will go well and they will have to good pull.

I'm not a puller, but do read this forum often. I like that rule about "protesters tractor will be examined first". Is that a fairly typical pulling rule?

Not sure about other clubs, our experience has been that the person griping the most usually is trying to hide something. I should say, not always the case, but most of the time.

My dad and I would not go because they allow the Farmalls to shift the TA's on the go.

I observed some shifting going on on the Green sled by a 560 and 460 on a couple of occasions.I don't think they were biased with any of them,Farmalls included. They even gave the John Deeres thier own 7250 pull off and all others thiers.Lots of breakage it seemed like due to the track biting good.Me and the guys I was with enjoyed it.

Sorry for the confusion. I was checking on coming to this pull early on and was told by someone that the TA could be used and we will not take our Cases to a pull that is Farmall biased.

Get a Case-O-Matic and see what it would do against a T/A

Do they do that in al of the divisions or just some? I have always been kinda iffy on that as it was on the tractors from the factory but it does give the Farmalls, some Molines, and a fe Olivers a distinct advantage.

What do you pull? We have an old Oliver 88 and a Super M farmall ( non T/A ).

Uh 1955-56 335 and 445 as well as the Star series like the Jet Star and ones like.I know for a fact the 335 and 445 series cause I have a 1955 445. It's called Ampli-Touque in the Star series and Magna-Power in the 445.

I got that out of an data book on M-M that has alot of their adds and stuff from 1910-1959. What I was reading was an article introducing the new M-M 335-445 for the year 1955. Seems like a year for major redesign and I had never heard ot called that till I read it. If you would like to read it I can scan it and email it to you. it's pretty interesting actually.

The article introducing the contellation series calls it the Ampli-Torque. Guess maybe a new namce for an old idea?:) Anyway, if you want to read it just hollar, I'll be happy to send it !:)

Or isn't it case-o-matic equiped. I've never seen one pull. I'm kind of interested in how it would perform. we pull a few case tractors. Let them shift there T/A I may have seen it help once or twice very rarely.

We pull the 800 in 9500 but the rules are changing the rules to 1957 and older and it is a 58. On a hard track that we often have you can't back off the throttle to let it lug so we spin out early. Our rules do not allow shifting so we can't shift the Case-O-Matic.
