What a cluster that started to be.The NATPA Techs.were there to d/q as many as possible before the pull even started. They were also seeing how many wheelie bars could be broken. If anybody has any of Dennys wheelie bars you might want to send them back.I saw a set on a Oliver66 weighing 3500# bend before the tires even moved. His ads say NATPA legal. The officials let the 730JD pull again (1957 and older) ya right. After they finally got all the unhappy pullers satisfied the Maumee Valley Club had a pretty good pull on Friday.I dont know how the rest of the weekend will go.

My first NATPA pull has to be the bigest joke I've ever seen. I went there with a legal Div 2 tractor pulled against Div 3 tractors all day. As the day went on Friday I seen about every dam rule in Div2 broken. It was more a anything goe's hope you have enough class. Would never waste the time or money to pull NATPA again.

When div. 2 pulles on a diff. day then div. 3 you always get some of those tractors moving down to div. 2 The reason why so many rules were being broken was because they stopped teching any none NATPA member. So you were pulling against tractors that were not within the rules. Also there were some very hot tractors and they did not tach one tractor on Friday.
Check on NATPA sight under results in most classes there were only 5 or less Natpa members.

Doesn't matter if they are NATPA members or not. If they are pulling at a NATPA pull then they are subject to the rules of that organization. If what you say is true and they run it like that then it would seem alot easier to just not join and still pull in the NATPA pulls. That way your not out the dues but still get the prize money.

I was going to come up to Murray Ky. and pull but with the design I have for my wheelie bars it will not be NATPA legal so instead of hauling up there, getting disqualified, and getting on here and griping about it I am just going to ride up and watch all of ya'll pull. And if the tech guys did ok me then I would get on here and listen to everyone else gripe about me getting to pull and them not. No win situation as I see it.

Oh well, maybe things will get better soon huh?:)

So what your saying is that if i were to join the NATPA I could show up to one of their pulls with a tractor configured anyway I please and not have any rules of the NATPA apply. But as I was not a member all the rules apply to my tractor. Is this what you are telling me.

If you can comply to the rules than dont pull. Those guys that had weak wheelie bars are a danger to everybody at the pull.NATPA did the right thing-making everybody pull with the same rules instead of everybody doing whatever they want.

I think wheelie bar chech was wright thing to do. Your pulls where the first to mandate them around here. But if they dont work what good are they. The first teching I did not under stand you ran for points last year with natpa now they did not want to let you even pull at first. So could you pull at differt a natpa pull now or not if you wanted to.
