what is the difference in weight between a 15.5/38 co-op long bar long bar that is brand new and a 16.9/38 firestone deep tread long bar long bar that is about 1/4 tread. I was wondering how much more weight that the 16.9/38 would weigh a tire than the 15.5/38.

TL, I am needing a set of 16.9 38 bias plys to replace my radials. I am getting too much powerhop out of my radials. I would like to find a set of Deep Treads for my puller. If you opt for the 15.5's would you consider letting me in on the 16.9's? I sure would appreciate it. The weight difference will be fairly insignificant. The 16.9's will take a lot more power to turn over. I have about 350 horses and run them in 7th. I know my dad tried 16.9's years ago. He has about 50hp and had to drop to a 15.5 to be able to spin them. That is antique pulling.
