New owner of a UB moline. Question: what are the current HP of these tractors? I would like to get 60-70 hp out of this. What are some of the parts and numbers people are swapping out to increase hp? I know nothing about these tractors yet.

I pull a MM U and the first thing to do is bend over and buy a good set of heads. A set of 10A4232 heads in rebuildable shape will run ya $1000.00, but there well worth it. even on a stock motor they make HP. heads make or break a first place or a fifth place in the 4 cylinder MM tractors. I could sit here and list all day the parts needed to make one run good, but no matter if you have a kickass bottom end you aint got nothing till you got a good set of heads. another thing is to stay away from MM G's those built right will eat a U alive. good luck!!

The cam from a 670 will give you about 20% more horsepower than the stock U cam.

Motec Engineering will grind your existing cam and set your carb. up for you. A stock U has 54 horse power and a stock G puts out 75 horses.
