Wildman, it sure was nice meeting you face-to-face at Oakboro, and I hope that your work on that nice little tractor you showed me goes well this week. (yes, the JDChick DID compliment a RED tractor!!) And if I'm not mistaken, didn't you get at least one full pull??!! Flogger, too bad that you had to go and get DQ'd because your block had a little identity crisis. And, maybe you better get some stronger magnets next time for that little decal!! LoL

But, that's ok...we all saw how well your little buddy did the next time he pulled after the protest....Why, I'd be REAL proud if I pulled 30.4 feet..... .....Better luck next time guys!!

Boy I am sure glad I didn't go to that pull being a outsider and not in the ring of folks that try to make outsiders look like a fool because they are scared of getting wipped. I also heard that they turned a 8 hour pull into a two day pull because they were so unorganized. Sure glad I didn't waste my time.

Well, CASEPOWER, I have no idea who you are, but after reading some of the rude and nasty posts you've made on here about the Oakboro pull and pullers, I have to say that you went over the line.

I know that everyone has his or her own idea of how a tractor pull should be conducted, and you just can't please everyone every time. Since you were not even there, you have no right to say anything about the proceedings. Even more so, you, or anyone else for that matter, myself included, has NO call to make personal derogatory comments about any of the pullers.

I have been known to make a few remarks in the past that may be taken wrong by some for which I'm sorry if that is the case, but rest assured, I think that tractor pulling is something to have FUN with, and to be ENJOYED in a family-oriented atmosphere. When I make a post on here, it's in a light-hearted mode.

I'm an OTTPA fan myself, but without all the other PA's, against whom would you compete? I mean, it gets old going up against the same people every time. And I didn't see any partiality to speak of this past Saturday. Rules are rules, after all, and as long as they are enforced the same for everyone, it's all fair. Even though one of my friends got DQ's, I don't hold any ill feelings toward the PA or the protester. After all, the world WILL go on...

As far as I'm concerned, I'd like to see you and anyone else that would like to compete come down to any pull whenever you like, but please leave the bad attitude at home!!!

I have made no shots at any one person. But after seeing people almost get killed because of reasons that were easily avoided. If they did have a brake on or hender the puller in any way maybe a few people watching close will solve the problem. A flagman that flags before the green can get someone hurt. Just Yesturday I seen a man take off with the red light on and finally killed the tractor not moving the sled at all. I did not see if the man was flagged to go or not, but when he came up and hit his wheelie bars luckily they didn't break. I am not starting problems I am bringing attention to what I see to be a problem. I don't want to see the sport of tractor pulling get hurt because of something stupid. The first rule in pulling is safety. I guess I will be made out as a bad person because I don't want to see anyone get hurt.

No, you won't be made out to be a bad person because you don't want anyone to get hurt. No one could fault you for that.

But yes you DID make a shot at one person in particular....the comment you made to THE Bulldog about what you thought she looked like was uncalled for. She's a good lady and didn't deserve a personal insult like that. Thankfully she's a smart enough person not to take it to heart.

You can check the post #s somehow and see that I DID NOT write that and will guarantee that I will not ever write something like that. Even if I had seen her and even if I did think she didn't look so good. For all I know she may be a model. I would not have any room to talk anyway because I have not had and good comments about my looks lately, but I can tell you I did not write that. If I write something you can plan on seeing my name with it..

If you didn't write that, then I do apologize. But it just seems awfully strange that the IP address on that comment co-incides with your block of IP addresses, and time frame as to when you were on. If it wasn't you, then the one who posted it used the same ISP as you. He should also be ashamed of himself for talking like that!!

Miss JDChick,

It was not Casepower that posted the comment I think you are talking about (the ? for Linda). I did a little detective work on a different site and found someone else with the exact IP address. I believe he lives in the same area. It was still not the right thing to do. By all of the comments about that pull I would say there seem to be a lot of people on this board that live within a 100 miles or so of Oakboro.

With all the discussion on this board I am GLAD that central Minnesota is "in the sticks" as far as pulling associations go. I do not think there is a antique P.A. in a 60 mile radius of me and I have yet to meet anyone else (other than my Brother) on this board from Long Prairie, Minnesota.

I may have crossed tracks with the man putting on the pull at Park Rapids, MN last weekend at the pull in Rose City in August. I have also seen ads posted from the region but don't recall any from LP.

Relax a little, the whole arguement is over 2 different opinions.

Hey there, Wheels!!

I did a little detective work myself and I am aware of the fact that his computer uses a dynamic IP address vs. static. Of course someone else is going to have that EXACT IP address at some time or another. The same IP was not on each post, but they all did go back to the same ISP, and I also took into account the time frame of the posts, and looked at other members who were on at the same time. I suppose if I wanted to, I could dig a little deeper and query the proxy logs of the provider that I located to look for the url and then find the user who was using it, but I don't reckon that he's really worth the time. Plus, I wouldn't want someone doing that to me. But I try not to say anything that I wouldn't want to take credit for!! LoL Thanks for the input though.

You're right, there are a good many people that live within 100 miles of the pull, but don't let some of the posts on here mislead you. By and large, the majority are really good, nice people, but you know there's always one or two who are gonna get their shorts in a bunch over something.

Anyway, this board is about TRACTOR PULLING....so if you're ever down in this area, I'd love to see you pulling against some of the fine machines we have around here!!! :)

Good luck to ya and have a great day!!!

Whew!! I don't know what the JDchick just said but you can tell by the intelligence level that the acorn did not fall far from the tree. CASEPOWER you CAN be identified and JDchick may have bigger seeds that you.

I guess that is the bad thing about the net. It is hard to take a persons word. All I can say is that if you can't figure out that I didn't do it then think what you want. If I decide to make a personal attack you will know it. I have nothing against Bulldog or any of the others. I do have a problem agaist cheating sleds. Not saying they were cheating, but if they were maybe they won't anymore. And wheels I will be more then glad to send a can of paint for your rims. CASEPOWER

You probabaly are right, The number in question was found in a post dated a day before, I would not have thought they "recycle" them that quick. I guess that shows what I know about computers and the internet. That fellows number also changed.

I don't think I will ever get into your area with my tractor. It's a little too far to make it home in time for milking. :) Being the JDChick you might enjoy the rear rims on My 560, they are off a JD and still yellow!

I am learning something new every day

JDChick, Actually I went the other way and am almost done. ;) I would probabaly end up in jail on murder charges if I would get a JD. Most of my nieghbors would have a heart attack if they seen something that color in the yard. A few of my uncles would also get to visit St. Peter.

Nobody ever gave me that one before. I have gotten flack from my college buddies about the rims, I told them "You know these rims have never seen any power because they came off a JD." Hehehe!!

Don't take that last paragraph too seriously.
