Heard NATPA board might meet this week/weekend. Will they post their results on this 460 issue? They need to at least on their website! I agree with other posts, they just need to tell Bear he is wrong..he can build legal NATPA motor, or they will survive without him! Went to a pull in Western Missouri 2 weeks ago..someone said Bill Brooks engine builder is getting him the same diesel 360 block as Bears (bore/stroke), BUT if Bear's is legal, they are building from scratch a billet head!!! The board better put the stop soon to this 460 stuff!! They feel if Bears V-8 setup is legal, then so is their custom billet head!! NATPA board, what's the scoop!!!!

I don't own a tractor or pull but am involved with other competitive events. If you don't have rules and outside inspectors it's a cheaters paradise.
You just have to go to an organization that's fair or your throwing big money down the drain to cheaters. If they don't have anyone to beat they can't cheat.

They have never kept minutes. Always got lost. You are assuming that they think Bears tractor is a problem. Not so, but bouncing in the in the seat is a serious problem that has to be addressed ASAP.

You're right! That dreaded bouncing or slight rocking motion is way more out of line than Bear's little stunt!! Everyone, rush out and put whatever motors you want in, but DO NOT BOUNCE!!!
