Wheel adjustment on WD45

I was wondering where the best position is for the rear wheels on my WD45 when pulling. Does it gain you anything to spread the wheels wider? I am totally new to pulling. My first pull is this weekend. Thanks in advance. Dennis

I have found on my WD that narrow is better if there is a crown in the track, this way you wont loose as much draw bar height. And the only way having them wide helps you out is if the skid pan on the sled is narrower than your wheel and the dirt doesn't build up behind you.

I pull with my wheels about 50% out. The only real advantage is that my brake pedal foot isn't so close to the right tire. And slightly more stable in a wheel stand situation.
