I pull my 445 MM in 4000--7500 div2. Best class 4000-6000.It has 4 gears under 3.7 With a creaper gear just in case you get on a wet sticky power track 6500-7500.I have not seen very many tractors that do not make good div.2 tractors with little work and a good driver.I like all old tractors they should be pulling ,and not be setting in the weeds.

A M FARMALL IS THE BEST CHOICE YOU CAN PULL 4500 THRU 7500 WITH A OLIVER 88 VERY CLOSE. RED ALWAYS LOOKS BETTER IN FRONT OF GREEN OF ANY SHADE.

Allis WD works good for 4000. WD45 for 4500 & 5000.

I agree! We pull two WD's from 3200 up to 4200, a 45 @ 4700 & 5200 and are getting ready to a a D-17 for the heavy side.

Three cheers for the Olivers at 4000. If your willing to go 5000-6500, think about an M first with the Oliver as a close second. Best advise of all -- stick with the brand that YOU know the most about. Good Luck.

Watch a tractor pull with many spectators. Most of them look bored and disinterested until a John Deere goes down the track. Then all heads turn to watch it go by. The sound of a John Deere tractor is to tractor fans what the sound of a Harley Davidson is to a motorcycle fan.
