PULLER 2 I HAVE TO DISAGREE WITH YOU. YOU MUST BE THINKING OF SOMEBODY ELSE. IHAVE BEN PULLING WITH OTTPA FOR THREE YEARS AND VERY FEW IF ANY SUPPER TRACTORS HAVE QUIT OR FOR THAT MATTER NIETHER HAVE STOCKERS .ALSO WHEN WE GET A CHANCE TO PULL OTHER PLACES ALONG WITH OTHER OTTPA PULLERS WE ALL ARE COMPETIVE. SORRY YOU FEEL THE WAY YOU DO.

Maybe you see it that way and thats fine. I hope we can just agree to disagree. I'm looking back to 95, 96, 97, 98, & 99. I know for a fact that the "in crowd" changed rules mid year on more than one occassion to keep certain ones from winning. One case was a puller from down east built a turbo tractor specically by the rules. He pulled one time and beat the other turbo tractors bad. They called him and told him if he came back they would have to check his tractor to make sure it complied with the rules. The next pull he went back and the "board of directors" went over the tractor with a fine tooth comb. Six of the seven board members agreed that the tractor complied with the rules and he should be allowed to pull. The dissagreeing board member also had a turbo tractor (can you believe that?). He pulled that day, but guess what? The next week he recieved a certified letter from Mr. Cartner informing him that he could not pull with them any more. This is just one of several incidents that I could tell you about. Are you the one that pulls the black M and the dark red H. If so, you have two great tractors and are probably the only two super tractors they have that are competitive at other pulls (and your two tractors are and pull great). As I said earlier, there are some nice people in OTTPA and some that don't want you at their pull if they think you might beat them. And by the way one recent inncident that I heard about was at the Pittsboro pull when Mr. Cartner ended the pull after his grandson pulled saying it wasn't safe to pull. I'm told he said it was too dark but they had already been pulling in the dark for over an hour. Wasn't it convenient to cancel the pull then?

This is a class that OTTPA came up with four or five years ago for their "in crowd" who thought they had super tractors but didn't. It is basically the same rules as the super classes but with a 5mph speed limit. After this they put a 12mph speed limit on thier super classes. Now they have just about accomplished their mission and ran everyone off that had a good tractor or would build a good tractor. They even have tractors pulling super now that pulled stock before (with the same engine and setup) if that tells you anything about thier club. There are some good people in that club and they welcome you to pull with them until you start beating them and they will change the rules (mid year) to boot you out.

There are some problems there, but once they figure out you're still goin show up to pulls they let you in, Flynn's tractors are super tractors, his M is the strongest one I have ever seen, just wanted him to know nothing neg. towards him,but I have been through it but I still go and collect those 1st place trophys sometimes, but to clear one thing up the last class at pittsboro the other night was 6,000 super.
