I have been told that I can bore my Allis Chalmers Unstyled WC to 4.250 inches. Can anyone tell me where I can get pistons, rings and sleeves to acomplish this? Also, should I do any work to the governor? What should I do to the head? Should I put in larger valves and heavier springs, etc? If so,where can I get the supplies for this?

On ours we're running the chevey pistons, 45 cranks, and ported and polished head. It ran great then we put a 175 spring in the stock govenor. Made it touchy but made it a better puller. Got us 1st in the 4000, 4500, 5000 Modifieds this year.

Why not just put a WD45 crank, sleeves, and pistons in it? The extra stroke will give you more than the extra bore would.

4.250 is the bore of a big block chevy, and the wristpin end on the allis rods need to be resized for the larger wristpins, this will allow them to be used..lots of wc's running those pistons around here very tough. can bore factory sleeves out to that size but is very thin would be better if you had some made by darton or a specialty shop like that. be advised that the motor cant be run for long periods of time i.e. like idling for half an hour in the stage area..because of heat buildup from thin sleeves.
