It's about $15.00 in NW Iowa. It's the same for a trophy, hat or cash payback.

What I would like to know is how much your paying for a sled and how many hooks as that has an effect on how much you have to charge for a hook fee to cover costs.

With fuel costs going north of $4.00, the sled costs will get higher and the number of hooks will likely go south, so what to do about the hook fee?? Keep it the same, but pay out less??

We have our own sled (the infamous BOWIEVEL) here in SC so that doesn"t affect the cost per hook.

I used to pay a hook fee but if it's prodused right why would you need to? The pullers are the reason people come! And we enjoy it.

Ricky, I don't know how many are coming from St. Matthews. I'll be there tomorrow sans tractor. My old Oliver is in a million pieces getting ready for a fresh coat of paint. Wonder if that will make it pull better?
