There seem to be more opinions on tread with than pullers to me so I thought I would bring it up here.
My stats are a stock SMTA pulling in stock rpm first gear class. I was running 13's and I have 14's that I will be switching to when time permits. The tractor does spend some time working on the farm, but more time pulling.
What would YOU do in my situation??? Some guys say flipped "backwards" all the way in for as narrow a tractor as possible. Some guys say flipped in and in the middle. Some guys say flipped backwards and in the middle. I am currently running them in and pushed all the way in. (I had them backwards to fit on an 83" trailer and I had a tendency to hit things with the axles...oops. This seems to be a compromise between saftey and narrow width.)
My question - Where do run yours AND why? I am torn on where to run my new tires when I switch so make the decision for me ;)

I have my hubs switched to allow me to get my tractor on my trailer between the fenders also.
I keep them at about a 78 inch width. Some think that narrower such as this makes both tires drive and pull together better rather than if they are set too wide. I think I tend to agree. What do others think?
