I'm really thinking pulling would be fun. I have an MF 97 diesel. So, what do I need to do? Just show up at a pull and register? What kind of hitch afair do I need to have? Once I'm in, where should I start gear wise? I've not had this tractor too long so I'm kind of a novice at it's operation--especially getting used to the hand clutch. We live in the NW if that makes a difference rule wise. I know there's a pull coming up locally on father's day and we may be able to make that one.

I have a 97 and have pulled it.Your aprox. wt. is around 8000lb. I would say.Stock HP 1st gear is all she can handle. On the hitch you will have to find out what your rules say.
