I'm just putting a quick message on here about Saturday's pull. The weather forcast has been changing seemingly by the hour for Saturday. At this point (2:45 pm Friday), it looks like there is a low chance of showers during the morning and early afternoon hours, with increased chance later. My guess is that unless we get a thundershower overnight that presoaks the track, we'll probably try to get going on time at 11:00 and try to beat the rain. Unless a soaking T-storm comes through, they're only calling for 1/10-1/4" of rain, and the track could take a bit of water as it is pretty dry right now.

I will do my best to have a message on my cell phone voice mail by 7:00am Saturday with what the plans are looking like for the day. That number is (570)764-3985. I will also try to post on here as soon as possible when a decision is made - especially if we plan to postpone until May. I know some of you are thinking of coming from a little bit of a distance, so I understand your hesitation and the need for information about what we're doing. I'll do what I can to watch the weather and talk with the committee to keep you informed.

9:00 Friday Evening: I just got off of the phone with the guy in charge of calling the pull, and he agreed that unless we really get pounded overnight we will try to get the pull in on Saturday. Scattered chance of showers, but not significant in amounts predicted if it does rain. Realize we're trying to guess what mother nature will do, so anything is possible :)

I won't have time to post on here in the AM. If in doubt, or if you'd like a call in the morning with the latest scoop, call my cell at (570)764-3985. If the pull is called, I will have a message on there as soon as that decision would be made. If my standard message is still on there assume we're pulling (or going to try our best to get the pull in!).
