gas-41.6
distillate-33.3
lpg-42.2
all pt0/belt hp.

if it is a stock tractor, it could possibly be worn out and need a good rebuilding. if you want to make a real puller, make sure you have a gas 60 as the all-fuel ones were kind of rare.

No.
Compression, valve lash, carb setting, ignition timing, governor spring tension, bunged oilbath, exhaust heat valve turned to hot etc.

Bushhog Papa is right, if it is an all fuel model that is about all you will get out of a stock all fuel 60. Gasoline or LP will give you the 41 he mentions.

That is all you get, if it is an "All-Fuel" 60

The gasoline versions should give about 41 HP.

Nope, that is right, all except the decimal point fraction...

By the way, no JD "B" was made with over roughly 27.5 PTO or 24.5 DRAWBAR hp...

Sure, plenty have 5" power blocks, etc, but not Original Horse power..

The 1st 60 I had was an "All-Fuel" and wouldn't pull any more than my +.180 "B"...it wouldn't pull a 3-14" plow except in 1st gear..! Just plain didn't have enough guts to pull it in 2nd..at ALL..!

Now, my stock 630 plowed fine in 2nd with 4-16" semi-mounted, even in alfalfa..!
Funny, it did it with only 44 HP..or..maybe that valve job I did put a little more air in there..... ..?? (Match-Ported, etc..).
