Probably not. In fact when I looked at it without reading the description, I thought it was old paint, as the older factory IH paint will fade to that color. He either screwed up the paint job or his camera does not give true colors. I have painted two tractors with 2150/PPG 71310 Acrylic urethane -MTK- the first has a slight orange tint if you look close enough, I believe that is normal, the second is more noticeably orange, but the casual observer may not notice it. When I pointed this out to my wife, she said "looks red to me". To me it looks fine in direct sunlight. The one in the picture is simply not correct, unless the camera lied. I have been told that Case-IH 2150 does not have any orange in it, likewise Frank Stalfire says that the DuPont equivalent 96766 is not mixed with any orange. Frank also said (he is welcome to correct me if I misquote) that the so-called correct PPG/DuPont, etc colors did not result from an examination of the toners in the factory colors, but result from a supposedly accurate photo of some color that someone assumed to be correct. I have seen a list of several "IH reds" that DuPont can mix, 96766 seems to be the accepted one, I suppose PPG and others have them too. Many people will tell you to simply use Case-IH 2150 and be done with it. However CIH only has one primer, I do not know if their topcoat is compatible with PPG/DuPont epoxy primers and surfacers, that to me are excellent, that is why I don't use it. It comes as an "acrylic modified" version of the old synthetic enamel, it is not available as a urethane, which is better paint. Others are quite adamant (is that a word?) that it is the best paint available. The problem I have where I am is that both DuPont and PPG (different stores) are sold by auto parts places, and are mixed by some counter person in between waiting on other customers. IMO they aren't careful enough, rush the job, and I get the wrong color. I don't think 71310 is supposed to look orange, except for a very slight tint -- sorry for the long story.
