I need the ppg paint color code for the Iron Gaurd 935 white, looks off-white/cream.

PPG 8665 is the correct cross for IH-901.
I have used it a few times and it matchs up real good. IH-901 has a very light green tint to it.
I have a 1966 Cub Cadet 122, never painted, and you can see that tint in it. When I painted a F-350 and a 1961 Cub Cadet with the PPG 8665 they looked the same as the CC-122. My decal set for a F-450 has that same green tint on that big decal.

Not sure what the PPG cross is for IH-935, but it is NOT the 8665 !

IH-902 is White Cap White.

Thanks for the post. I have updated my PPG listing to clarify the 8665 reference to IH901.

I'll chime in here as I'm about to purchase some PPG 8665 White for my 560 Farmall. I wanted the original cream white color that came on this tractor for the white part of the sheetmetal and IH-901 White is the paint. However the IH dealership said that IH-901 has been discontinued and as an alternative offers IH-935 White (Cub cadet cream). IH-935 is very cream colored. I'm not sure how it compares to the PPG 8665 which is supposed to be the match to IH-901. But as I type this and seeing Rod's paint chart, I'm wondering if PPGs 8665 is the same as IH 935 or IH 901???? I was under the impression that IH 935 is a little creamier colored than IH 901.
Does anyone know?

I'm not sure, one source I have lists 8665 for both 901 and 935 -- I have a 460 I'll be ready to paint in a couple of months and need to know that too -- you should be able to ask for 901 and 935 at your PPG dealer and see if they cross to the same number -- this is my first experience with any IH paint but red. Most CIH dealers don't have a clue as to what is correct, unless their parts departments have some old timers who might remember.

Good idea. I think when I go to the PPG store I'll ask what number IH-935 crosses to and which IH-901 crosses to. Goodluck with your 460!

If you find out a PPG number that crosses to IH-935, let me know or post it on this forum. I'll update my PPG listing as required.

Just got back from the PPG store and picked up the 8665 which is the direct cross to IH-901. Sammy is right about it having a green tint. I asked the guy at the store about a cross to IH-935 and he said he didn't show one in the computer.

I believe it is 8665, according to Rod's link and also another source I have -- your PPG dealer can tell you if it is correct.
